DEFENDER 21027 SENTINEL 4-Channel Smart Security DVR with 4 Ultra Resolution Outdoor Cameras

We just installed this camera system in our retail store. The camera mount and connect easy. You get a very good color picture. I like that you can switch from seeing all the camera images to just one. You can also view only 4 cameras instead of 8 if you only have 4 cameras. Setup is very easy. Just make sure you attach the cable that comes with the cameras to the camera & then add the extension cable to go to the DVR. I did it backwards twice because I was not paying attention. Other than my installer error it was a simple and straight forward install. I would recommend getting the largest monitor or TV you can so you can see everything more clearly. I have not tried the internet remote view yet so I can't comment on it yet. Overall I'd say this is a very nice system for home or work. Zmodo 8Channel 960H DVR Security Camera System 4 700TVL Hi-Resolution Night Vision Outdoor Video Surveillance Cameras with 1TB HDD (8CH - 4 Cameras 1TB)

This is a good system for average home protection but has a great DVR and with 1tb of space. I get 5 cameras recording at the same time (2 with sound) and the hard drive overights every 13 days. My cameras all work great including and extra I bought. It all installed well and if you need help it might be a bit of a wait but they have great technicians and they always came through and devoted as much time as it took to resolve the problem or set up my pc for viewing. For the 250.00 it's a great system that was fun to set up and easy to use. This system lets you do that. I just can't pay Comcast 35 bucks a month to watch my house with their cams. Oh and your homeowner insurance should come down if you have a security system but maybe ask them 1st. I'm happy with this purchase and feel a lot safer. - Customer Reviews
